Do you like Vampires? Do you like Loli’s? Do you like Comedy?
If you answered yes, to at least two of these, I highly recommend moon phase, I managed to pick it up for a badass price. ($20 entire box set!)
QUITE A BIT OF SPOILERS!
The story: is of spirit photographer who goes on a trip to Germany(Hitler was not invited) with his two co-workers/friends to investigate this giant fucking castle
that has ghost and shit. The main guy is extremely dense so he cannot see spirits even though he can photograph them. so one night he is taking a picture of this castle
and the loli vampire who’s name is Ryo Hazuki.
So this peak’s the main character to use the girl for modeling
Eventually 3-4 episodes later they are living together and stuff and eventually people come to try to take her back home and there is a ton of battles and cock blocking going on, while being EXTREMELY
MOE!
There is HUGE plot jumps in the story though, battles will abruptly end, the story will progress months with out saying anything, and it never explained how she came to live with the main characters.
the ending also left a huge gap open, if you have not watched it, GO WATCH IT!
The Music: It had quite a good OST, There was a few times were it was used a bit awkwardly with the music going “HIIIIIIIIIIII YEAAAAAAA HIIII YEA” but all in all excelent ost with a FANTASTIC opening song! Neko mini modo!
The Art: For being a semi-older anime (idk…shana era?)it looks quite well and the characters looked like they should.
over all, I give this a…
7/10
Neko mini modo!

I prefer the manga version more than the anime, but… where is v13-? ¬¬
v13?!
Sorry, I mean that Tsukuyomi: Moon Phase Vol 13; was postponed (or canceled) from 2009 and I never could finish that serie
I am in the same boat as you, pisses me off that it took than, I wonder what is taking Tokyo pop fucking forever….half tempted to read a scan -_-
It’s actually “Neko mimi mode” – I.E. “cat ear mode”
>_>
